Candice came through the Hope & Healing Place with her family in 2006 after the loss of her infant son, Ethan. After going through the program, she came back as a dedicated HeartPrints volunteer. In 2017 Candice decided to change career paths and started out as our Community Relations Director, where she excelled and broke fundraising records. Candice was promoted as Program Director after Becky decided to retire from the position. Everyone at Hope & Healing Place knows her heart and passion for the mission was a perfect fit.

Candice and her husband, Jim, and children live in Amarillo and are active members at Accelerate Church.

Jennifer first joined us as a facilitator. She came to HHP after the loss of her husband’s grandmother in 2020, before she passed she told left these words of wisdom “Go be the light for others.” As a graduate student getting her counseling degree at that time, she knew she would always deal with grief in her personal life and in her clients’ lives. She wanted to get more experience in understanding grief. Since then she has earned her degree in Counseling in May of 2021 and is currently working to obtain a license to practice in this amazing field and continue to help others.

She is blessed with her husband, Ryan, and their two children Landon and Lilly. They are members of to Saint Stephen’s United Methodist Church.
