A note about our upcoming meeting….
Dear Board Members,
Our recent Board Advance was a powerful reminder that momentum is built when purpose, preparation, and people move together. As we clarified board roles, strengthened governance, and leaned into bold conversations about the 2026 budget, capital campaign planning, and deeper engagement, a shared vision emerged; one rooted in stewardship, unity, and hope. We are deeply grateful for the wisdom, time, and heart each board member brings as we work together toward revitalized events, sustainable funding, and a future facility that reflects the depth of care our mission deserves. With renewed commitment and collective ownership, we are setting the pace for our 2026 velocity; building not just plans, but a lasting legacy of hope and healing for every life we serve.

Moment of Hope
Heartfelt moments within our walls and Board-Led Community Engagements
Hello again.......
I was asked by the counseling staff at Boys Ranch to come to the year anniversary dinner of the death of the young lady that died Thanksgiving week 2024. If you remember, I went and did a 6-week grief group (along with our old intern Adam, who now is on the counseling staff @ BR) with the girls that lived in the same house. Many of these girls, dealing with suicide in their home, is by far not the hardest thing they have experienced, in fact, half of the group had all had their own mothers die. This was a hard group, filled with anger and sass.....in fact, much of the time was spent just helping them control their emotions from their daily routine. At dinner, I was happy to see the girls that I had spent those weeks with. When dinner was over, one girl came over and gave me a hug. It totally made my day and helped me remember that even when it doesn't feel like I have made a difference, I did in this young lady’s heart and mind. Even if the agenda didn’t go as planned, we held a small space for her to process something (or a lot of things) that have been hard in her life.
